DAP & uTorrent are different entities.
DAP is a download manager for all FTP/HTTP downloads (i.e what windows does). uTorrent is only a Torrent manager. It will only download files with torrent trackers (private or public) and will only process files with torrent hash codes. Do not think uTorrent will replace DAP, it wont.
