I don't think Shift+f11 actually freezes the game, at least not for me. It'll take me to the desktop and ask if I wanna start a capture sequence.

Ah... well on my machine it just freezes at least it doesent CTD

LOL, I think I'd rather have a CTD the reboot.

I might add steamwake, that it does require me to manually CTRL+ALT+DELETE out of the game to close the window asking about a capture sequence.

hrm... you mis understood. I dont have to re-boot it just siezes up the game, usually hitting escape will un-freeze it.

OT: Shift-11 (which I've pressed by mistake more than once ) takes a series of screenshots, like a camera that takes many pics in quick succession with one press of the button.

On topic: Crew is not fatigued, since this happens the moment I leave base.
