SH3Commander gives you the option to start patrol out of port. Saves the aggravation of manuevering around at slow TC. I just started my first patrol out of Lorient and it starts you out by the island near the inlet going into Lorient. It's a breeze getting out.

I guess I've always been the odd one. I like the ports so much, I think it's fun to spend a whole session just sailing out of port and looking at the sights.
