Ha, funny you should mention that. I got attacked by a very small jumping spider, which promptly found it's way in some pure IPA . When I put it under the stereoscope, it wasn't dead yet, and the damn thing moved! It scared the crap outta me.

How much can these magnify? I see 8,000x on the Eye cell picture but can it do more?

Just think if this fungus would someday evolve to be a threat to humans too:

Holy crap Dowly. The video is friggin weird. It looks like sci-fi but it is the truth concerning the fungus.

That website is just sick. Truth really is stranger than fiction! Seeing that worm thing crawl out of the bug and frog was nasty. How can something so long be inside that little bug? In that top video, was it a time-lapse of that fungus thing growing out of the ant's head?
