Two points: Linksys have very good help. I have spoken with them on the phone. They may have a sollution.
2> have you checked for a hardware upgrade for the firmware in your router? Are your other systems experiencing similar problems? Maybe the wireless card in your basement PC is the problem. If your other system is still online and your basement one isn't...bob's your uncle. ![]()

If you do decide to go the manual route, think about safety first - ie. Don't delete the files. Just rename them from say driver.dll to driver.dll.bak - simple ideas like this has saved me from many a headache since you can always 'un-do whatever it is you do'. Take it from my years of experience. I've done at one point in time every mistake ever possible! ![]() ![]() -S PS. You need to delete that driver from the registry too if you go the manual route. |
