"Hardcore navigation"

Hi all. I've seen a couple of videos on YouTube about a "hardcore navigation" method, which relies on your position NOT being automatically shown on the nav map. Can anyone tell me if there is a mod for this? Whatever options I try, the nav map still shows my position like a satnav!

You must go to data/menu/cfg/maps. In the "maps" file edit the level of zoom that you want in the navigation map.
