That works ingame? I thought the FC radar needed a solid return, otherwise it wouldn't launch.

It does. The STIR and CAS can get a solid return on just about anything as long as its classified at a aircraft, heli, missile, or surface ship.

I understand the thought, that's not so much the problem, i'm looking to utilise the 76mm for something other that anti-shipping, also, land based SAM's have no Defense against incoming 76mm shells, i guess the same as they would have against an incoming sm-2.

While we're on land attack targets, I know it's quite easy to change the standing Harpoon to include land-attack capabilities, but is there any moves to include this in an up-coming patch?
