I once knew someone who believed that when he read a book, the book was talking to
him, personaly and acting in a conscious way.
I'm not blaming authors for this tho.

Not even close! Jesse Helms was pro big gov, and a hard right conservative (kind of contradicting, no?). I fall along the lines of moderate to middle and I even cross over party lines on occasion.

I do not warrant anything for taking away the power from the people. It is what keeps gov in check - a happy medium.

Rudd has shortchanged pensioners and carers in his budget, made my life no better, my fiancees life no better, and our families' lives no better despite helping 'working families' and he's managed a record surplus. Now, rather than do anything useful, he wishes to implement garnaut's ideas which are terrible at best, and will cost us 'working families' a fortune. K Rudd, abberation in Australian politics.

If we're coming out of a mini ice age, then of course the earth will be warming up. That mini ice age was a "mistake" (brought about in part by the Krakatoa eruption) by the climate, which has been warming up since the last great ice age. The earth will keep warming up until it cools down again and hits another ice age, be it great or mini. Its common sense isnt it?

The American leader, who has been condemned throughout his presidency for failing to tackle climate change, ended a private meeting with the words: "Goodbye from the world's biggest polluter."
He then punched the air while grinning widely, as the rest of those present including Gordon Brown and Nicolas Sarkozy looked on in shock.

Making us proud as always.

Actually he does, by our standards....
By Euro standards on the other hand he's somewhere to the right of Attila the Hun.

I just can't figure out whether that says something about us, or you.

How cute the conspiricy theorists now have some shrinks on their side.

I guess after their big "video game addiction" craze ended they needed another source of sucker money.
