Black Widows are probably the most painful bite you can get from the spider world. Makes your whole body go into convolsions. Kids or elderly are both dead on arrival. Adults don't fair too well either but typically survive.

Just don't play with a Queensland funnel-web spider, only 20 minutes till death! They are as thick as your thumb and have actually bitten through thongs! I think they are the most Venemous spider in the world.

And they tend to dwell in dark places like toilets, not very nice to get that very painfull bite on the privates.

I had two turantulas when I was a kid. I had a red leg and a cinnimon brown. The red leg was very friendly and would sit on my hand without issue. The latter was a nasty little bastard that would rear up and nash his fangs at me. I would throw some crickets in his cage and run like hell. One day the red leg got out and was hanging around the house for over a week. One morning my dad woke me up and said my little friend was in the basement. I do not know how she got three stories down without being seen but she made it. My morbid little self named her Mortisha.

You can be thankful your dad wasn't bitten by Mortisha, or the spider wouldn't be the only thing Red!
