Try Forgotten battles and use a good plane, for example a 109 with 30 mm gun pods or a 110.

I´ve done some missions against ships and is very cool.

SH4 uses a limited 3d environment which you can test by jumping into the external camera and go upwards... probably about 1000m max.

This severly limits the enjoyment of ASW, where you want to be at least 3000m up for longer view range, and most ASW attacks would be out of the clouds, downwind with engines on idle.

As much as we all want a complete simulation game that would allow us to take part in all aspects of Naval warfare I have IL-2:FB/ACE/Pac Fighters for a reason.
