The biggest problem I see with the 'C' class cruisers is that they were actually several different classes, all lumped together under one heading. There was a bit of variety there.

After a couple of hours on GWX multiskin Revenge (thanks to GWX team)...

Command deck and Walrus are WIP;
not 100% correct; just a small project while waiting for IAMBECOMELIFE's (better) work...

Don't you think that new command structure should be moved forwards a little bit after her siluette on the photo?

But this is only the work's start
And this is a "non 100% correct" version, while waiting IAMBECOMELIFE

The tower bridge looks fine to me. And the sternwalk - very nice! The photo of Warspite in the Grand Harbour has a little bit of an optical illusion going on...the plans are more accurate.

Just wondering - have you stretched the ship at all? They were a bit longer and beamier than the Revenge class, which was one of the reasons that they had more refit potential.

The torpedo bulges of the QEs were much less prominent than the ones on the Revenge class.

The stern rangefinder should be more or less the same one on the Revenge model. There was a much more modern one mounted atop the "Queen Anne's Mansions" bridge structure.

Warspite also had x4 dual 4in guns mounted on the gunwales, two per side - exactly the same turrets that you get on the Hunt class. Don't know how easy it is to drop them in but they're pretty essential - they performed very well on D-Day. Check out the plans to see placement.

Looks fantastic so far - you deserve a medal for getting to this stage after so many other dropped out

As for monitors, it'd be great to see them. They were specifically designed for inshore operations and as designed were enormously resistant to torpedoes - huge, er, bulges on them. The Roberts class are one of my favourite warship types - x2 15in guns, x8 4in, x16 pom-poms and about 20 Oerlikons on an 8000-ton ship? Yeeha.

HMS Roberts

HMS Erebus

I am afraid that we'll have to wait for a long as he is still busy with his commercial fleet supermod.

Yep the Ney as well, but she was predominantly a WWI vessel unlike the Roberts and Abercrombie.

In fact, I do believe the Roberts utilised the guns from the Ney.
