GWX 2.1 Update Released (yes really)

Thanks for all your hard work on improving GWX2.0. This game keeps me up way to late at night but I can't wait to play again the next night.
GWX Dev Team rocks, and now I will have to buy SH4:p

First off.. GREAT WORK and THANK YOU for all that you've done to SH3.

I only have a few quick questions:

1. Is the permanent fix for the ASW trawler CTD issue included in 2.1?

2. Since you mentioned SH3 commander, and i'm running 2.7, I assume I will now have to upgrade to 3.0 correct?

3. Will a 2.0 career be useable if i RTB and save it then try and reload after the 2.1 install/upgrade? (worst part of this is starting over after sailing 15+ patrols)..

Thank you to all that have contributed to this fantastic. You have truly transformed SHIII to what it should have been. SHIII with GWX and SH3 Commander makes SHIII the most immerssive simulation that I have ever played. Awesome work guys.

Now please for Pete's sake take a very long well earned holiday and enjoy the fruits of your labour as all of this lucky community will be doing.

2. No you don't HAVE to upgrade, but recommend you do.

3. Theoretically, yes.
Be sure to back up the SH3 folder in my documents, and then when you do the new clean install and such (as per instructions on page 1), then paste the backed up SH3 folder in and try it out.

1 Yes
2 Yes - Better off having 3.0 anyway
3 Possibilty it will be - you may start off Africa if the co ordinates of your base moved or you may be ok
Even if you do start off Africa after you dock should hopefully correct itself

There were no unit changes as in some previous versions which usually led to careers being unusable

I started the career in August in 7 flottila but Home base was not in Konigsberg but in Kiel from the begining, how come ?

Website is now updated (complete with online manual) - http://gwx.mysite.orange.co.uk/ IE & Opera users may turn their speakers on.

I will be continuing to update over the next few days, as more hosts come in and the FAQ section needs futher instructions added relating to v2.1 but the rest is good.

Thanks to Lehman and the GWX-team! Thanks for all your energy spent to create this update! Just installed it and started a new carreer. Now we have to wait for updated mods from OLC and Rubini. I'm curious if somethings has happened to the wheather. Well we will see that in the upcoming change-list. Great!
