It's not just the music. Have you ever noticed that when you're in the control room messages from the soundman vary, but if you use the external view he goes on your astral trip with you?

It's the same with the torpedo doors opening operation (Q)...Hardly audable whilst inside the boat, but loud in external view.

So, there is nothing known yet which triggers the volume level of certain sources at certain stations ?
I mean, if in some interior station the ambient sound from inside the boat gets played. And it stops if changing to an outside station. The same thing should be able to be applied for playing grammophone tracks (for example) too. |
