i just spent £650 on my pc to play the game. its about £20 on amazon atm so i will get it soon.
thats about my expendiature on pc's in general. this is my first pc i have bought myself so.

also in the way of the mouse debate:
i have tried using a graphics tablet to play but didnt find it as good just because it has no real continuous scroll efect like on a mouse (for panning around the scene) i do however find it much better in graphics/3d work and general computer use.

SH IV Wolves of the Pacific game $29.95

22" Wide screen HD monitor $325

BFG 8500 GT 512mb video card $99

Watching "MY" Gato class submarine slink away under the soft moonlight after sending 30,000 tons of Tojo's housewares, china, guns, bullets and other assorted widgets to the bottom of the sea.....PRICELESS!

I remodeled my basement.

Now carpet, sofa, 46-52" LCD TV, and a new monitor for the PC need to get added.

Cost? More than the BMW in the carport outside, lol.

PLease, shoot me.

But, hey, I needed more bookcase space. before my library was mostly aviation and age of sail (and general pacific war stuff). I've since added many many sub books. That's what I've been telling the wife, anyway.

Between the numerous sims (Janes 688(i), SH 1-4, Sub Command, Dangerous Waters, Fleet Command, et al), various machines over the years, quite a few card and RAM upgrades, books, and movies, I'd put the figure around $4000 US. Me likey the submarines.

The original $49 bucks and about 1,000 hours of research time here and elsewhere. No complaints other than the hours.
