Welcome aboard and good hunting kaleun, sink them all!

With regards to manual targeting i strongly recomend the OLC ui mod, makes manual targeting easyer and a bit more historicaly accurate.

I can't get GWX to work with my SHIII even though its patched to 1.4
What exactly is the problem?

I can't remember the last time I fired a shot from greater than 700m.

In perfect conditions (flat water, good visibility, correct angle) I can get a MOT hit at 1000m - but then conditions are rarely perfect.

In the late war, I will sometimes fire a long-range spread at the side of a convoy, preferably at overlapping targets. But then it's not so much calculating as it is hoping to get lucky.
