In a way, I am kinda glad he pass on. From what I read, his last years were non too comfortable with all his illnesses and disabilities.

I am glad he found peace and is no longer suffering.

I enjoyed his books

The only Science fiction authour I ever really cared much for. A visionary and a wonderful writer. Strangely enough, I only just tracked down an old copy of 'Arthur C Clarke's mysterious world' yesterday and was reading it when I heard the news.

RIP.

Arthur C. Clarke, Isaac Asimov, Frank Herbert, and J.R.R. Tolkien.
They all gave me more pleasure then I could explain.
R.I.P Guys.
You will always be remembered.

I loved 2001, especially the opening scene with the monkeys. Kinda reminds me of work. Has anybody seen the Pink Floyd song "Echoes" set to 2001? It's really cool, I'd post the youtube link, but I'm at work and youtube....
