Gazoo in "The Flintstones" was sci-fi enough for me. :rotfl:

I don't think it gets any better than Zardoz for my money.
Sean Connery put in an amazing performance as Zed. ![]() |

Another icon of macho shot to hell...
Sean Connery wearing some BDSM style outfit of thigh boots and a red diaper with matching bandoliers. ![]() It's hard for me to pick a favorite sci-fi show simply because I love sci-fi in general! Very few stand out in my mind as being of 'literary' quality but "The Martian Chronicles", "Firefly", and "Babylon 5" are very well done. I liked the classic Battlestar Galactica better than this soap opera hell-hole they've got on Sci-Fi Channel. The classic BSG had a sense of adventure to it that is sorely lacking in the new one. It's very telling indeed when fans got far more excited over the BSG Razor Flashback shorts for the classic Cylons than their excitement over the Razor movie debut itself. Shows like Lexx might be "drek", but it didn't pretend to be anything other than that. Good ol' pulp-rag sci-fi with a smokin' hot babe at its best. The original "Tales From a Parallel Universe" mini-series that led to the Lexx series was much better.
