SH3 V1.4b w/GWX2.0 and OLC GUI 1.2.3 at 80% (gotta have external cam! The sights are just too beautiful! Map updates on, let one of my officers plot for me...manual targeting is on)

Sig explains the rest I think.

SH3 V1.4b w/GWX2.0 and Commander. Have not downloaded the OLC GUI but thinkin about it.

I play on 76% realism

- Unlimited fuel because BDU has no clue on the practical range of a VIIC. BDU likes to send my tiny VII from Lorient to the South Pole a lot it seems

- No duds because not only would I have rebelled against the Torpedo Directorate and had the faulty Magnetic pistol disabled, I would have empowered my CPOs to beat the crew if they did not inspect and maintain the eels correctly. I also recognize that this is a game and dud torpedoes simply are not fun.

- I do have the event camera active as I think it is so cool to see your torpedo hit the side of the ship. I also like the animation of the ship sinking

- Because I do use manual targeting I have Stabilized view enabled.

- No external view. I don't think there is a problem using it after the attack to gloat while my enemies panic, but the temptation to use it while setting up is too much for a weak-willed Kaluen like me

- No noise meter as I wear sneakers on duty

- Even though I rarely use it, I have WO assistance enabled. There have been times when I have needed help in identifying a ship, but I don't use him for solutions (that is toooo easy) I don't know why I have WO enabled. If I disabled it would up my realism to 82%. I guess I am just chicken. I like to have the option of using the WO's eyes to ID some ship at an awkward AoB. I am the Kaluen, I don't "have" to do everything myself ya know! Better to have a WO and not use him than to need him and not have him.

Question for you smart guys and ladies. If I select "no WO assistance" do I still need an officer in that crew position? Can I take that officer and train him for other duties around the boat or does that position still need to be manned for somethings?
