Thanks, Spax. I used to use several sound files recorded from the Das Boot sound track CD for things like crash dive in SH3. I never got tired of hearing "Alarm! Fluten!" with the bell ringing in the background.

Are these voices taken from a stock SH3, or from - for example - a GWX-install?

stock sh3, as far as i know, i jsut grabbed them real fast from a backup install of sh3 on one of my Terabyte hard drives

Great job m8. When you dive do you get the US whistle or German ALAAAAAAAAAAAAARM? That's what annoys me more then language

The other files are probably sound effect files with the speech added into them. You should be able to replace the dive horn with the alarm bell and Germans shouting orders in the background.

....and suppose you want to sail in a US-sub again (or continue your old USN career), you need to disable this mod, I guess?
Just got a confirmation, that the expansion will be in the mail tomorrow.
