Ship appears on surface but not on map then lockup!

Well it's dark but medium & large cargos, small freighters etc and I think 4 escorts, the front is a frigate, here is a shot of layout, you can see where the cruiser is supposed to be, yes I have the contacts & tails on, sometimes I play this way, depends on what I am working on!

This is after locking on the cruiser then lowering scope:

It was you, I searched everywhere for the owner to get permission to use in my SSP mod, if you read the included readme I put a thanks to who ever & if discoverered & didn't want me to use to PM me & I would remove!
I'll formally ask you now ... May I use this leer in my SSP mods?

Now the status of this problem, I disabled a number of JSGME mods ran a test mission and all worked, I then went through puting them back a few at a time, it now works & all are back in! Must have been a corrupt file or something, the only thing is I get no contact lines till I use hydraphones manually and only if a contact is recognised! I think this is an old problem, mind you my test mission is in daylight with good visability, might be different at night.
