Funniest dogfight I've see was in the Med when I observed a Stuka being persued and finally shot down by a Sunderland that was pretty nimble and doing some very interesting manovuring to follow the Stuka!

"Dogfights" were even in stock game, but during limitations of an engine not very realistic.
I wonder why German aviation strikes so often around British Isles? Every time (if not every, than VERY often), I am sinking a ship (or spotting convoy) in Western Approaches or near Cardiff, there are 4-5 Ju-88 or even FW-200 in the air. I believe british aicrafts should arrive first. It's 1941. If german u-boats have so strong air support in reality... But I learned from Doenitz book, that there were a lack of recon and other aviation for the navy. This also is not good, 'cause, for example, one Junkers throw a bomb near my boat, and other began to attack him (!). If there will be more rare axis air-strikes.. And more often Allied air support... It will be better IMO. Maybe it's possible "to call" british fighters when german bombers approach? |

The one air engagement I'm really looking forward to seeing is that of a Condor being shot down by an Allied fighter

The only German planes I encounter, show up around home bases somehow.
I wish they would lend me a hand to clear some pesty Engländer of my tail now and then! ![]()

![]() Try patrolling the Black Sea or Med. There's plenty of friendly planes about and they will even respond when you send a contact report.

Hmm, been around Englands coast for a while now. I did not encounter any German aircraft yet but then I don't actually look for them. Usually, when I see any aircraft we dive. Is there a fast way to identify them as friendly?
