Kaluen,
This sounds to me like the old conning tower of doom syndrome from GWX1. Basically the game forces your men into the damaged tower and they die.  But this was fixed in GWX 2.0. If you loaded GWX 1 because of your earlier crashes, then I suggest the turm2 mod which will eliminate the conning tower of doom. If you are using GWX2 and this is happening then I have no idea. :hmm:
