Any way to display "visual" map contacts only?

Is there any way to have Map Contacts display only when ships are visually aquired?

I'd like to play with no sonar or radar map contacts but keep the "Ship Spotted" map contacts. Can it be done?

I think Im ready for no map contacts but, maybe not "all the way".

I thought the option would include the visual map contacts and was surprised to find that "no map contacts" actually means "NO MAP CONTACTS"

.

Besides, in rw the captain didn't do ALL the work. He had some help gathering data and plotting. A "partial no map contacts" option would help to simulate that.:hmm:

Might try to see if you like it. As a casual gamer,I like the course tail,for target heading.
