2nd flotilla in the summer of 1941 in a IXB. Mods are GWX2.0, OLC GUI 1.1.5 and some minor sound and graphical ones. The optional GWX mods are Late war sensors snorkel antennas, enhanced damage effects, 16 km atmosphere and lite harbour traffic.
As far as I understand the only mod that deals with campaign files out of those is the lite harbour traffic. And when I think about it that was something I added recently (not during patrol though). So I guess I could try to uninstall that one. Edit: Well it was worth a try, but after unistall of lite harbour the game still crash but with another error reported, sh3.exe. Are you trying to use old game saves, from any previous version of GWX?

No this is new campaign I started a few weeks ago when I got GWX2.0. I did take a backup of my old sh3 directory in my documents before deleting it. Then I moved one of my old careers to the new one created when I installed SH3 again. But I never tried to load one of those. So I have 3 profiles now, the old one from GWX1.3 (never used in 2.0), the default "player" used once in a single mission, and my new GWX2.0 campaign.

Tried that, but it didn't make a difference. Thanks for trying to help though. When I think about it I used something called SH3weather a while ago. I'm not even sure I ran the application, maybe once and then I unistalled it. Could that mess with campaign files?

Open each of the campaign files Lnd\Rnd and Scr In data\Campaigns\Campaign Use Notepad Copy and paste the text below over the top of whats in there already then save Fog=1 FogRand=1 Clouds=1 CloudsRand=1 Precip=1 PrecipRand=1 WindHeading=0 WindSpeed=4.000000 WindRand=1 WeatherRndInterval=4 SeaType=0 Briefing= All 3 mis files need to read the same - MAKE SURE NO TRAILING SPACES AFTER YOU HAVE PASTED Happens a lot when copying from the web One other thing you can try if that doesnt work is to delete the main.cfg from the SH3 folder in my documents You will need to reset languages etc again on restarting the game but has been known for that file to be corrupted on save before |
