Outstanding idea, if it as Abd said is compatible with the current and commonly used mods.

Cool! How do you get to move those red marks on the added compass wheel? And is there a limit to how many?

And is there any chance the hydrophone needle can be extended to the edge of the scale? To point directly at the small marks.

hopefully you'll release this as a DIY mod. As I want to implement it in OLC's GUI mod.

Canbe used with any mod as long as the space on the screen is open. Needs no other mods. No link yet.

Just click and drag to move the icons. Uses the same principle as the overlays on the strat. map. No limit on symbols.
Not sure about the needle.
It is a DIY mod.

This mod is not JSME (?) ready. Because you have to modify the file menu_1024_768.ini by hand. Its easy and a readme will be provided showing how.

Here is one of the bearing overlays:

...and here I was about to ask if the notepad in the sonar room could be removed, because it always annoyed me that it followed your panning around the room.

After seeing this it might actually serve a useful purpose.

BTW -- is the compass overlay static or draggable?

Looks like a great mod.

This will be a great enrichment of my currently very spartanic sonar room

I like to plot my attack totally submerged, this stuff will make it really nice
