How i see bush from down under - hes a modern day warrior who wasn't afraid to put his presidencey on the line by going to war. The one i think is the biggest clown and would probably make americans cringe when he said on live TV.

'I, did not have sexual relations with that woman' :rotfl: He lied to his fellow americans:hmm: Who doesn't but he was as smooth as they come looking down the camera eye to eye contact with not a hint of guilt... He should of worked for the CIA:p

Anyways ignore my post this is coming from a kiwi, who only know about your presidents from what i read here or see on TV.

I cant say im a fan of Bush, and i know why.

A few reasons why, that do not relate to Iraq:

- Gross, frequent, and blatant abuse of signing statements. Hes been tap dancing around and circumventing our nations laws, and otherwise using it as a line item veto, and has made more signing statements then any president in US history.

- Sneaky Back door appointments.

- Sneaky back door, passing of bills, such as recent one which would have allowed mexican truck drives the full run of the US. This would have put MANY americans out of work, and could conviebly cause all shipping, and shipping ports to move to mexico. More US jobs outsourced.

- Speaking of outsourcing.. the presidental debates on his second election, his stance on outsourcing is wholly unsatisfactory, and only caters to corporate or speical interests, and NOT the average American. This was my breaking point with Bush. The American people should always come first, MR president.

Anyway, im sure i could make this list alot longer if i thought about it long enough. Ats all i have to say about this.

Bad:
- rigged the 2004 elections in florida...
- went to war in iraq over oil , elite israeli lobbyists who want him to fight the wars for their own interests..
- allowed millions of ILLEGAL immigrants to flood and invade the southern United states, bringing crime and disease....
- illegal immigrants now a huge drain on welfare and social security system..
- created a deficit (this picture updates.. the deficit every 30 min or so)
-debt increases by $1.48 billion per day
-
now wants to go to Iran because Israeli lobbyists are telling him to...
- outsourced US economy and jobs to communist China...
-allowed 9/11 to happen...

good:
- dont think there is anything good about this fool

Well you don't like him and anyone who is disliked by white supremacists does have at least that in their favor.

Oh and BTW you got your lies mixed up young Stormtrooper. He's supposed to have rigged the 2000 Florida election not the 2004.

Sorry my superior Officer Lord Vader is on business meeting with lord sidious our leader the rebels have been harrasing us with weak attacks the last few weeks.... oh and im on temporary leave my E-11 blaster rifle had a malfunction and got some small damage.. so its in for repairs..hopefully it'll be fixed soon ....

"During the 2004 U.S. presidential election, numerous allegations of irregularities were made concerning the voting process in Florida. These allegations included missing and uncounted votes, machine malfunction, and a lack of correlation between the vote count and exit polling. Additionally, 58,000 absentee postal vote forms were lost in Broward County; Broward County is heavily Democratic, and Democratic Party officials accused the Republican state government of trying to "steal the election"."

But he wasn't willing to put his life on the line. This is a man that joined the US Air National Guard, opted not to serve overseas and then couldn't even be bothered to turn up half the time.

Some Warrior.

Bill Clinton's dishonesty over his relationship with Monica Lewinsky has to date cost zero lives and destroyed nothing, save some of Clinton's (though if IIRC he left office with a high approval rating) credability.

Bush and his governments lies and incompetance have, to date, cost thousands of lives.

Some Warrior.
The man flew fighter jets. That, even in peace time is a very dangerous profession. Maybe not as dangerous as say, Infantryman, but certainly more hazardous than sitting in an airconditioned Saigon office pushing paperwork.

True. However, when you take into account what else was going at the time, ie the war, it is a relatively safe way to spend your time in the armed services.
Of course it's a lot safer not to show up.

But relative to what Tchock? "Recreation Center Specialist" handing out basketballs at an army resort in Austria? (an actual military job). Like I said, a Fighter Pilot, even just in Texas, was far more dangerous occupation than Saigon pencil pusher.

Of course there was always the Bill Clinton route; avoid military service altogether. Apparently even that backround allows a President to send our young men into harms way.

That statement implies that all the US soldiers in Vietnam drove desks. Very misleading, that.
I mean relative to a pilot in theatre. Bush's unit contained quite a few privileged Texans. Coincidence or not, I don't know for sure but it smells damn funny. Especially when he didn't bother showing up and nobody seemed to mind. Even when his flight status was suspended nobody cared. A dangerous, yet seemingly inconsequential job.
Speaking of jobs, any vacancies for the basketballs? Sounds like one of those low-paying fun jobs with lots of free time

Bill-O's no saint either. One could argue that he was a little more honest than W :p
I wouldn't, but someone on DU might.

That certainly wasn't my intention, but you do realize that the ratio of support to combat troops in any war zone is about 10 or 15 to 1.

Re: Rec. Ctr Specialist.

I met one of those guys while i was stationed in Germany. Arguably the best job in the Army.
