Welcome aboard Kaleun kitfoo......you can navigate your boat into port, press Esc at any time or wait till your within 30km of base before pressing Esc (probably the most common).
Just watch out for that crewman Bernard

Ok, I finally got a mission to complete, but now I'm having saved game issues. If I try to save the game while under way, (on surface, not under water) it saves....but, when I go to reload my career later, it abandons my career. What am I doing wrong, and how can I prevent this from happening? It seems to be a waste to spend a few hours completing a mission, only to have my career abandoned when I try to save.

My fix for this is first of all.....back up your save files, then add the letter 'x' to your save name. It should then open....take the 'x' out at the next load up.

Or just add the 'x' to your back up save and create an additional 'ficticious' save as well.

Which file exactly are you putting the "x" after? (file name) Are they all the ones in the folder called "0"?

I'm at work right now and not in front of my computer. Go to the Careers folder and open it. There should be a sub folder or folders named the same as each of your Kaleuns ie: Reichling....just lengthen the name by adding the letter 'x'.
If you only have the one career saved and/or a pne called 'player', delete the player save and create a second ficticious career using any other name you want.
