But keep in mind 10 m/sec are 36 km/h, travelling the opposite of the wind direction at flank speed 18 kts adds another 33 km/h. 70 km/h and the deck sometimes rinsed by the waves.

Stock game settings for the stormconditions can be changed with a text editor. To a good compromise and lets you use the guns in mild rain and waves. Taking a guess you have the VIIB boat.
Ok open the NSS_Uboat7b.cfg with a text editor (textpad/notepad) located in C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Submarine\NSS_U boat7b Note if your have a different boat just open the correct file / folder. Locate the StormConditions= Change it to; StormConditions=11,0.8;max wind speed [m/s], max rain intensity [0,1] or StormConditions=14,0.9;max wind speed [m/s], max rain intensity [0,1] The above values at least offer some flexability. |
