Just started a new patrol. TREMENDOUS!! What a difference with the enhanced pitch and roll movements. Reminds me of my Tuna fishing trips to the Hudson Canyon! I decided to give the "Highres Seafoam" a try. Haven't seen it yet, and hopefully my machine can handel it. Otherwise I'll use the classic vs which was itself great!

Just want to say Thank You to Leo, and all the gang involved. This sim is becomeing a true masterpiece!

I second the motion Leo. Just wonderful. In fact, I removed all previous mods and reinstalled all ROW files fresh. I had all kinds of test files mixed matched, etc. Once done I gained 5 FPS plus all the nice new textures and visuals.

Now, with the talent and dedication with this mod, what else could you all be brewing?:hmm: Remember Dr Frankenstein, you created this monster. Every member on the team bringing a body part or two. What other monster could you all be dreaming up?

BTW, the work Luke did on the sound files is just out of this world. The cannon sound is almost better than a six pack and pizza....I said ALMOST

Thank you to all the members on this mod and making it a reality. It was a team effort and the team came together making this the best enviromental mod I have ever witnessed.

Well, this certainly isn't just ROW with some tweaks . . . this is a vast improvement. And we don't even have all of it yet!

Thanks to all involved. I'm looking forward to this weekend even more now.

Are the new ROW mods beta? Or has a "official" ROW update been committed? Been on the road the last few days and I'm a bit behind... Thx.

About half of the ROW related parts have been updated. What's left is object and ship reflections. Leo said he plans to change the header of this thread to "Beta" instead of "Alpha" when the rest of it is made available.

Thanks again Leo for the vision and all the LONG hours of work …. I would have never imagined this mod would have evolved this far. The vast visual improvements, throw-in the new sounds and it’s almost impossible to tear myself away from the sim.

So Leo I’d like to thank you for creating something more addicting than crack … so immersive ones willpower is reduced to mush. Nothing must get in the way of the ‘sim’! NOTHING … and now thanks to my new friend, nothing will …. MUuuahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

Thx letterboy1 for the update... I'll wait it out a bit longer then. Not that the screenies aren't looking awesome now!

Maybe he should even change the mod's name to something adequate. I mean the mod is a lot more than just reflections ...

Default Important note please take notice

When I did the stock game zones file special effects I goofed on one part of it and accidently left out 2 of the float nodes for ship's. I have repaired the zones file and anyone that is using it for their game needs to redownload it and apply the new one instead. Again this is only the Stock game special effects zones download.

ROW_Special_Effect's_With_Stock_Zones_vs_2Nothing other than ROW textures is needed with this due to fire and oil slik texture dependancy.

Also for the people using Triger Maru Ducimus sent me the zones file from his mod and I applied all of the special effects to his zones file. So now there is a new download for anyone who uses Triger Maru.

ROW_SPecial_Effects_With_Triger_Maru_Zone's THis is a redesigned Zone's file from the Triger Maru mod that want to use Ducimus mod but have ROW Special effect's.
Both this file and ROW Textures must be add to your game ON TOP OF Triger Maru for it all to work.

In order for these to work you must Place them on top of other mod's that use these file's. And These file's are dependent on the ROW Textures file's for the Fire and oil Slik effect's so again ROW textures must be placed on top of Triger Maru or you will have problems.

So Triger Maru First then ROW Special Effects and ROW Textures. That is the only special order that is needed for these files.

Same with Natural Sinking Mechanics. NSM goes first then the Matching ROW zone's files special effects and then ROW Textures.

Sorry but it is the only way to make sure it works okay in your game if you chose to use ROW special effects.

Default Okay I am now back to work on the Object reflections and lighting

I will try to have that ready for a download later on today or tonight. Then I wil try to finish the ship work for maybe tomarrow and have it ready for doanload.

Thanks for all the great comments and screen shot's everyone. There is a color file for the sun and sun halo and I am going to ask Jaketoox if he can see about getting that slight light green tinge out of the halo for the rest of the day sequence for the sun.

I have tryed working with this file but it seem's my color blending ability is slightly lacking so this is why I am asking Jaketoox to take it on so that I might get the rest of the file's done for the mod seeing I have had no success with it to date.
