Maybe one conflicting with the other
At least you have found it Tis a nightmare trying to sort out these sort of problems So many mods seem seperate but conflict in ways you dont think of |

Yes....I think I was rather lucky finally being able to pin point it....the yellow rain being caused by one mod...and the crash upon saving a game and then trying to go back out being caused by a sound mod....funny though...when I enabled them I did not get any warning concerning overlapping files....which I thought I would have....I seem to remember getting a msg once concernig a dat file that had been changed by one mod and that if I enabled the one I was about to that the game could be unstable....so I chose not to continue....but in this case ....I never got any msg.....I guess the real lesson is probably to stick with GWX mods only.....or risk the chance of having issues.....thanx for the input.....Rick

JSGME will only give you a warning when its changing a file thats already been altered by another mod
If you add say a sound mod and its the only sound mod you have added then JSGME will say nothing Add a second sound mod that overwrites some of the first mod THEN you will get a warning message Doesnt mean it will be a problem just letting you know so you can check JSGME v2 may have cured that - not had time to look into it yet ![]() |

Ok.....I see......I do remember once I got the msg. that a read me file had been previously changed....but I went ahead and enabled the mod anyway as I thought that was not a problem.....it doesnt seem particularly important that a read me file gets changed....but a dat file.....I was kind of unsure......
