The command exists in the commands.cfg, the functionality is there, its just not mapped by default. I dont remember offhand the ID handle listed in the commands.cfg, so feel free to reverse enginner it. Files in question are the ordersbar.cfg (or was that upc?), and commands.cfg.
All you really have to do is map it to wherever you want it. Earlier in SH4, most folks just made a CNTRL + somehotkey command for it. you dont have to map it to the ordersbar. I beleive CCIP developed the orginal commands.cfg mod, so that should be easier to D/L then the the TM modpack. |

Thanks Ducimus.
I have been looking at all the command lines in the stock Cfg. Perhaps it's just labeled in a way I wouldn't expect. They're all in the 'Navigator' section, and it's probably the one that appears to be time based "Time to Range end".. Going to test. I'm not worried about the icon for the order bar. I just want a key command to give me the report. Thanks.

It is labled in a way you woudlnt expect, thats why i dont remember what it is exaclty. If i had the ID handles in front of me i could point it out, but without the file infront of me i can't. |

I think I found her...
[Cmd259] Name=Report_range_to_course_end Ctxt=1 MnID=0x3F250004 I was originally thinking this would only give me the length of my plotted course. Adding key command. Will be back. Thanks again.

Time to turn, or something like that. Search for "Turn", i think that was in it somewhere, not sure, its really obscure.

Yep. Found it, but there's another problem.
This is the line... [Cmd257] Name=Report_time_to_turn Ctxt=1 MnID=0x3F250002 Key0=0x47,s,"Shift+G" Which the TM help file identifies as the right one, via the Shift+G; Shift+G Maximum range at current speed Ctrl+G Range to course end G Time to course end I had seen the "Time to turn" But thought that might literally be asking for "Time until next course change(turn)" like Sean Connery in Hunt for Red October. :rotfl: So, here's the problem. I set up the command line, attached it to "F", as in F for Fuel. It works, but the Navigator responds " maximum Range at current speed is not available". So there's something else I'm missing. I was on the surface, moving at 11 knots for several hours (TC) when I hit the F. Any ideas?
