I feel bad no one has answered the man, so I will.
Unfortunately, I can't help you though. :rotfl: Often when I tackle a new tool, I grab all the tutorials I can find, and just jump in there and do a lot of trial and error. Experience is the best teacher. Start in on it, and in a few days you'll be an expert with it. ![]()

there are actualy a lot of tutorials around for the mini tweeker you just need to do a search for them.
Click on the search button inbetween New Posts and Quicklinks then hit advance Under the Search by Key Word type in MiniTweeker search by titles only in the Search in Forum(s)just click on SHIV mods work shop and then do a search you should find what you need as several people have done tutorials already. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=110889 http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...07&postcount=2 http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...99&postcount=1 All I typed in was tutorial for a key word Like when your looking for something on the internet the search button is a usefull tool. Your not being ignored just that there are a ton of people looking for answers and post after post things are being reasked that have been answerd already and everything is getting lost in the shuffle without anyone checking for old posts. So while we are trying to make and repair our Mod's it is hard to address every question asked. We need a full time Moderator to help guide people in this forum but at the moment we don't have one I think since Gizmo took off. For example if each person when they post something say specificly what they are looking for. Mini Tweeker help needed S3D editor Help needed Sub battery recharge help needed. Deck Gun Help needed then doing a search for these topics would be so much easier to get self help for everyone else that comes down the road. Last edited by leovampire; 10-01-07 at 06:20 PM. |

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...highlight=mini see if it helps. When I installed mini tweeker for myself I made it go to a new files path other than it was originaly set up to easily find Example: C:/Programs/MiniTweeker So that way there it had it's own folder and then inside of it put all of the tweeker files in it to access. I have 2 hard drives so I always put utilities on the C: drive and games on my F: drive. |

I made a folder in My Documents called Silent_Hunter_4 and inside that folder another one called Tweaker Inside that Tweaker folder I made another folder called MODTOOLS I opened up MODTOOLS.rar with WinRar and dragged the 4 zips in MODTOOLS.rar into my MODTOOLS folder. I made a folder inside my MODTOOLS folder called SH4_Modding_Tools_and_Utie and extracted all zip files inside SH4_Modding_Tools_and_Utie.zip into that new folder. I double clicked on the SH3MiniTweaker_build104.zip and dragged setup.exe to my desktop. I double clicked setup.exe and let it install to Program Files\SH3 Mini Tweaker After it installed I made a folder in C:\Program Files\SH3 Mini Tweaker\ called SH4Tweakfiles where I put all the current Tweak Files that I needed. When I first ran it Mini Tweaker made a folder called Tweakfiles that is empty. Hope this helps. Art |

Sorry for my convoluted reply. Tweaking files has become a combination of looking at a lot of hex code and playing a game of Anagrams... or "what did they name it now?" type of thing. lol
