Yes, it replaces every *.val-file inside the ...data\submarine-folder...so I guess the 2 are incompatible.

You can get his mod (-s) here, if you want to take a look yourself:

Here's a SubSim topic:

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...akes+Nvdrifter

But on a side-note: what exactly would be broken in your exhaust-mod, if I overwrite it with Nvdrifter's longer wake?
Just your own longer stern-wake, or the entire exhaust mod?

the entire exhaust mod. I suggest you take a look at my tweak file. I have included my own version of longer wakes and it's very easy to implement.

I wouldn't know what to do with that file.
I tried to load it into the mini-tweaker, but the tool won't accept the file.

So I must choose between this smoke and those wakes.:hmm:

Btw, I will have the same problem with my TypeVIIb career.

Are you trying to open the tweak file from the folder I included labeled 'Tweak_File_1_03'?
The tweak file's name is 'VIIc_SDDE_ADM_1_03_14b.txt'. I just tried it and it works. If you open this up in Notepad and read the comments I explain how to use the tweak file and the settings.

Hi just downloaded this mod,

I was wondering where the Smoke TGA's (the six "7c_exhaust..." files included in the folder) go? I noticed that the TNormal/Tex Folder is empty...

Also is this GWX 2.0 compatible? (I have d/led the 1.03 version of the exhaust mod)

the six TGAs you don't need to do anything about unless you want to override the defaults included in the .val file. If you want to override the defaults then copy which ever ones you want to override into \data\Textures\TNormal\tex and then replace them (keeping the naming convention!) with yours

I have not had a chance to review it for GWX 2.0 compatibility yet. It should work no problems but that's a use at your own risk currently
