I played it back in the day, and apparently it's gotten even more advanced since. I particularly like all the deployable stuff, and how vehicles will start to malfunction when damaged.
I have to get around to download this mod. Probably won't, though, since both World in Conflict and the First Strike mod comes out this month ![]()

I was a beta tester for that mod.

Downloaded it some time ago and got hooked. This mod in its current state is everything I longed for and then some. The spawn system, the limited kits, the communication and health systems, everything. My #1 favorite feature so far has to be the deployable Rally Points
![]() The best thing is it's not really hard at all. It's admittedly counter-intuitive, meaning that you'll have to read the manual and repeatedly tell people what the shovel is for and what the game really means when it tells you to get to a designated supply zone. However, once you get the hang on it, which you do pretty fast, it's not really that complicated at all. Most of the things you do are pretty straight-forward and simple.

Just got around trying it last night and all I can say is WOW!!!!
![]() The atmosphere is great, the teamwork is great, the sounds are great! Awesome mod! The maps are huge compared to stock BF2 and the map named "Ghost Train" is very cool! Jungle map with high grass everywhere, the terrain is perfect for ambushes etc. And got a great example of PR's teamwork. I was on the British side, joined a squad that was attacking over the river from far East. The leader told us to go to a line formation and keep low. We moved very slowly (either crouched or crawled all the way) and the only sounds we heard was the battlesounds from the railroad bridge. Maybe a 100yards from the river all hell broke loose, the Chinese had same in mind as our squad so they laid in ambush on our side of the river. The guy next to me hit the deck and opened up with his machinegun, while the rest of us starting tossing nades to the shore, explosions and tracers everywhere! ![]() ![]() |
