Game completed - 44 patrols!

Yo Kaleuns!
War is ended!! During 44 patrol when game clock reached magic date
when war has ended - i was kicked out from SH3 with GWX 1.3 to
WINDOWS LAGER!!! There wasn't any endscreen, any note and picture
and even credits screen!! After 44 patrols!!!

In april 1945 was unleashed peace.

So - what to do with the rest of my life? This is simple - i'm starting new career!!!
WOLFPACK SUBSIM FOREVER!!!

BTW - question: Is there any mod which will bring my watch officer
automatically on conning tower after each surfacing? Crew are climbing
as fast as they can and this damned WO lies in his bed !!! SHAME !!!

no fix that I am aware of ... was always a pain in the rear to always put him up there manually ...............

Well ,, hummmm in non-GWX game I always just got a radio message that war was over and to return to any base to surrender my boat .. Like hell I will

If that mod doesn't exist then maybe some skilled modder will make him?

That is a huge shame and personally I was shocked reading this..

Still don't want to believe in it, but if it's true, no ending at all ?
I would consider it as a lack of respect to player who has spent lots and lots of days at the waters of GWX.. It's dissapointing for sure..

Yo Contact - i'm not sure where is the reason of that rapidly ended game...I'm user of polish version of SH3 upgraded with polish patch to ver 1.4b. And after i can only install english GWX1.3

.So i must say goodbye to polish files...only in academy i have my polish words. After loading my carefully selected mods into JSGME and enabling them i must say aufwiedersehen to ALL missions... Sad but that is the price for game enchancement which i choose. I suppose this will be a reason of that rapidly ended war.
Above Slov_N_ez says he got a letter on Radio about kapitulation and order to back to port - but not in GWX.

People - please write here your impressions from end of war from GWX.

I think there can be only credits screen.

A year ago I completed about 4 patrols without using any of the big add on super mods ... just SH3 v1.4 and a few choice mods such as internal life , no fatigue , hollywood effects , ect .

End of each war I always got the message about war ended and to cease hostilities ( one was at beginning of patrol before leaving base ) ......

most memorable one was I was about 500 KM off the west coast of France and I was going to take out a destoyer escorting 2 small merchants ..... Got the war has ended message and was ordered to return to any base to surrender my boat ........

I surfaced and held my fire ( destoyer was about 6000 meters from me ) .... Evidently he hadn't gotten the message the war was over and opened fire on me with everything he had

.... went to periscope depth , set the last 3 homming torpedos to 2 meters and and fired them and crashed dived ....... by the time my torpedos got him ... he had gotten me with DC's .... so we both lost
