Well crafted story, Reverie. Far and away more "flesh and blood" than any official after-action report was in RL. It is unfortunate that action logs and reports were, by necessity, brief. The advantage of being able to relate the details as you have breathes life into the encounter, painting a vivid image lacking in official matter-of-fact reports. Nicely done
