The ship title and the crew ranks should be easy to mod by modifying

A)files in Data\Roster\American\Submarine - for the possible submarine names

(alternatively you can just modify the name of your current boat)

B) Data\UPCData\UPCLocalization for the crew ranks names - modify only the right column

Enlisted and Officers, i guess they would look sort of "Pom" like but

could you use the current logos and the gray overalls? it would be cool

and you could use the overalls like the one picture here
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sea_Patrol_(TV_series) in the picture frame at the top
the overalls are all grey and feature the sailors name above the left pocket and the word NAVy on the right pocket. it would be better if they wore overalls all of the time

The Uniforms and rank badges have changed since ww2 i think it would be cooler if the current uniforms were used and the current rank badges.
