Do other games load & run fine?

ATI drivers are buggers to remove & they do need removing before installing new versions.

I suspest a driver conflict.

Try to find ATI's Driver removal tool/instructions and start again.

EDIT - Just seen your post. It has happened in the past, where a game is no longer supported by the drivers. Could be the problem.

Let me insist however: Where exactly does SH3 fail? When loading the game (Access to main menu), or when loading the missions?

Tnx guys...

Just cleaned up the cpu and started from scratch...apparently SH3 got corrupted with the RealNav mod.

Got the vanilla copy working!!

...so far.
