They didn't talk or point out the reactor. The cover for the hall way past the reactor had the radioactive signs party uncovered. So we could guess where it is. They did take us back to the engine room. The aft part of the room is one of the most popular places on the ship because it is only place sailors can smoke on the sub.

Check out Tom Clancy's Submarine or Red October. I had an old roommate who worked on the reactor for 688s and could not believe how much Clancy was able to talk about.
