Default [REQ] Alternate start areas, ending area

I played the Trigger Maru 1.2, which is awesome. However, I have a question. In that mod, we are able to select a starting point out by Midway if we chose to start out of P.H.. Now, for those days when I have limited time to patrol I love that option. However, I am still in the learning phases of the underwater community and would rather not have the other things that the mod puts in in regards to the "hardness" of the game until I get very comfortable (Get sunk each time out with that mod).

Is there a mod, or could someone make a standalone mod that would let us set our patrol start in the same area, without the long cruise from P.H.? Also, as a second part, has anyone been working on a mod that will let us end a mission, like in SHIII, after completing our mission objectives, again rather than the long cruise back to Pearl? Just curious on these.

And kudos to the whole modding community. I feel honored to be "serving" with all of you.

I'm not sure if what you ask is possible. Even if it is, I wouldn't like it. Better just play single missions, eh?

I worked on this a bit ago; it adds Midway (June '42), Guam, and Saipan (both September '44) as operational bases. Each are their own flotillas, so you can transfer into and out of them if desired.

Shortens the distance, and saves on gas money

Thanks my friend. I really appreciate it. As for the single player missions, although they are nice, I'd prefer to continue my missions with an option of not being restricted to 3-4 hours play time during each mission. Kinda hard on days with a little time to sit in front of the computer.
