The music is really good, but is a bit of an immersion killer to have a different tune played to cue you in that the enemy has stopped looking for you.

More proof the SH series was not designed as a hardcore sim.

As I said on another thread stuff the music in SH3 and SH4 I dumped the lot to save space. I am here to fight for my country not fart about with the bloody record player.

I really appreciate the possibility to switch on the gramophone...Have placed The Last Samurai soundrack into it and it's just GREAT to play the game with this kind of music....thanks to Hans Zimmer
