The thing that drove me crazy in this movie and others (including Das Boot) is that when the boat is under a depth charge attack they just sort of sit there and take it.

No change of course, no change of speed, no changes at all its just "here they come again !"

Haha very very true.

I tried that in the games and im wondering how the movie screws survived one attack.

It's been a long time since Hollywood made a good film with young girls, ponys and submarines.......But I hear Spielberg is working on one with Tom Hanks as the crotchety sub vet turned ferryboat captain. They say the special effects are awesome. A wonderful mix of Titanic, The enemy below, and Jaws, but with Ponys! The soundtrack is a real "toe tapper" too!

(I stayed up too late last night in Tanker Alley....can you tell?)

As long as it ain't Lucas doing it. He would get all "CGI" with it an lose the story.

Yes, and the "Greedo shoots first" debacle was about the worst moment in film remaking ever -- disgusting. I mean the real one, not the YouTube version, which I thought was very funny.

Well, I better go read that book.
