With the excellent JSGME mod enabler, anyone can now add and removed mods quickly and easily. I added another mod a few hours ago, and from the time of my selecting it, downloading it, extracting it, placing it in the mods folder and finally enabling it in JSGME was less than 60 seconds. The answer to your question regarding patch 1.3 is that the Devs will be making significant code changes within the game, and the modders will need to assess how these code changes effect their mods. In some cases the changes won't touch existing mods, and in some cases they certainly will. Therefore, when patch 1.3 comes out, anyone wishing to install it and use mods should disable all their current mods and then install patch 1.3 and wait for the 1.3 version of the mods to become available. |
