Default How can I see if the skin pack works?

Hi i'm new and played SHIII with the GWX mod. Very nice. Since a while I installed SH3 commander. And download a skinpack, U-boat elite unifomrs and milkcow mod.

Every thing is installed and in the right kolom of JSGME. Activated mods.
I see every thing there. When i start sh3, it takes a long time so a assume the files are loaded. But how can i see the mods are working. My crew has the same old outfit. The ships in wilemshaven are grey? Can someone explain?

thx.

Just an FYI to all.

The GWX updates to versions 1.01 through 1.03 were focused on fine-tuning existing content... just as version 1.04 will continue to do.

The primary focus of GWX version 1.04 though, will be to add new content. As per the wishes of the GWX art department, the vast majority of the GWX skin pack released after version 1.03 will be included in version 1.04.

(Along with a whole slew of other NEW goodies! )

[Edit: This skin pack has undergone further evolutions in the interest of historical accuracy and has yet to be released. It is now basically a "GWX Skin Pack Two" which renders the current one basically obsolete. "GWX Skin Pack Two" will be released as integral to GWX version 1.04. Special thanks to Ichneumon, current chief of the GWX Art Dept. and primary achitect of the GWX skin pack.]

Ships were not painted in camo patterns at the start of the war. If you are seeing all gray ships in 1939 that is normal. If SH3 commander takes a long time to lauch the game then it sounds like you did everything right. If you want to check you can exit the game without rolling back SH3 commander and then check the skin files in your game folder with those in the skin pack to be sure they are the same.
