Not I. I haven't owned a cell phone in probably 5 years, and I don't miss it at all! Besides, have a cell means people from the office can track you down any time and anywhere. Not a good thing when in the IT biz.

Also, when I am driving, leave me alone. Period. I am relaxing and listening to my music or the news. The last thing I want to do is talk to some joker who can't remember how I told him to fix something last week.

Exactly, my old lady and I are probably the only two people in California who don't have cell phones.

A cell phone seems to me like an anchor around my neck rather than a blessing.

Seeing hippies talking on cellphones is funny. <-----hippie

Yep - i feel like the only person in the world without one and I kind of like the peace. Besides, when I did have the phone, I only made one personal call on it maybe once every two weeks to a month. Every other call was someone calling me for help on something. Blah! I'm the type of person that hates talking on the phone anyway. If you want to talk to me, get on IM and message me instead.

I have one very annoying friend that likes to call up and chat for up to an hour at a time. Another reason I don't want a damn phone! :p

I have a cellphone (we call them mobiles) and I agree with you 100% Subman1,which is why I use the off button when I'm driving or don't want to be contacted. I'd be lost without it now,it's just too useful.

@NefariousKoel - did you post in the wrong thread?

If my cellphone rings while I'm driving, I usually pull over or do not answer it. But that's not 100% of the time.

My husband does the same except when I'm riding shotgun with him driving, then I answer all his calls.

There isn't a good handless car system for our Samsung models and pressing the earphone buttons correctly is more distracting and dangerous during driving than conversing.

The off button still costs you at least $30 a month last time I checked!

I hear you though. It is like a security blanket to you now. Trust me though, I thought I'd miss the thing too, but the moment after I threw it into the lake, I have not missed it one iota!
