The above is just my opinion, I do hope that someday SHIV will capture me. Afterall, I don't think it's completely crap, it has potential.

Thank you u-bones, I'm positive I've read something of yours that was helpful to me. Sincerely thank you.

I also agree - had one of my best SH3 careers since SH4 was released.

How creative of you

Im sure your backhanded insults will sting UBI to their core.

Its BS like this that will make them think "Why should we bother ?"
Rubbish....if anything, its comments like this that bring down the tone of SubSim community. Ubi don't care what we think unless it brings about negative publicity that may affect their stock value. They certainly wont think "why should we bother" - its not an emotive decision, its purely a question of profits and what they can get away with.

Terrapin, it seems I can't log on at u-boot.realsimulation again or get my password sent to me. The PW I used before isn't working. Send me an email when you get a chance as there is no other way to contact you.

Thanks mate.

And sorry if I'm off subject here.... I'll delete this once I hear from him.

Forgive my ignorance but I don't know who Elanaiba is. Judging by responses I can only guess he has something to do with the product. In which case he deserves more than a thank you. I never intend to trash anyone's hard work. I know what it's like on a different level (Enterprise Storage Array's). I've put up with customer crap as well but poor features/functionality/performance is rarely due to any one persons contribution or lack there of. Customer crap is taken up to mgmt as feedback for improvements. Most of the time it takes a large pile of crap from multiple customers taking a dump in yer office to make a difference but occasionally even a small turd gets visibility. Once in a great while I get passed a little turd and am able to make difference and that feels great. There's difference's in Hardware vs Software, one company's ethics vs anothers but I've never seen a load of crap do anything other than create dialogue for improvements. If we were to throw up our hands and say "screw it, they b!tch too much" we wouldn't be the No.1 provider of storage array solutions across the globe.

It sure does just as SH3 did. I will tell you, as much as I loved SH3 with the larger mods installed, I like SH4 better with minimally installed mods. Basically all I have is a few textures and the reduced radio traffic mod. If the game is this good for me in the basic vanilla state, it will only get better.

Anyway, SH3 has been completely removed from my computer. I do not have any intentions of loading it up again. To each their own I guess.

Same here, I love SH4. I have figured out how to use the radar, and it is fun. The night attacks in SH4 are way more fun than the ones in SH3, where I was NEVER able to get close to a convoy on the surface.

I like not fighting for a fascist regime, I like getting to use a GATO boat, I like the improved graphics, I miss the radio shack.

SH3 is uninstalled. At some stage I might put it back on, but not anytime soon.
