Again to be fair. It sounds ironically that these people are responsible law abiding gun owners.

Its the parent who gives the baby the gun yet doesn't inform the authorities I'm worried about

Next on the news:

a 10 month infant kills parents with a shotgun.

the fact that you can get a license at that age, is crazy.

I'm not worried about 10 month olds with weapon permits. I'm worried about adults who have them.

The ol' gun debate. New Jersey is getting ready to outlaw large caliber weapons, which will kill reinactments of historical battles.

lovely.

Wow! You need a permit to own a gun in IL? Since when has an American needed a permit for a shotgun??? That is plain stupid. If this state was operating normally and allowed the shotgun under American law, then this wouldn't even be a story!

Yeah, I heard about this.

It's a crying-ass shame too.

Not suprising. What caliber do they consider large enough? 9mm? Seriously, there's no exception for antique muzzle loaders? Even Massachusetts has that.

What about Sharps Rifles? They had all kinds of weird large calibers, and were made in the 19th Century. Are there exceptions for those?

I worry about the adults who don't have any kind of basic weapons-safety habits, permit or not. Responsible parents are capable of teaching responsibility to their children -- irresponsibility generally goes the same way in my experience. I also worry about the ones that fire their AK-74's and AK-M's at weddings rather than buying a string of blackcats or sparklers. In the evil land of America, blackcats are still easier to get ahold of than 7.62x54mm rounds.

Her Majesty still better think twice about that Quartering Act of hers.

I still like the ignorance and myth displayed at Americas gun laws! It is quite entertaining! :rotfl:
