Good book, quick read. Very hard to put down and gives something into the world of being a uboat crew in ww2. Told straight from the mind of an actual uboat commander.

Torpedo Junction is also excellent. I like Wolf also. Operation Drumbeat is very good. All three of these were great books on the subject.

Yeah I'm curious as well: I was gonna buy Iron Coffins one of these days, but I would like to spend my money on a better one....

Clay Blair's two volumes are IMO the most definitive on Atalantic sub warfare (that goes for his Silent Service...Pacific volume too)
