Saw a thread a few pages back about this problem, but was no resolution. On the torpedo tutorial mission you get a green trajectory line and your fired torpedos shown on the battle map, but once I start the game this disappears. Does anyone know of any patch plans for this bug?
One other bug I noticed - I switched my stern artillery for a bow one, figuring it would be easier to target ships with, but now the gun has disappeared from the crew management screen, and I have no one to man it, so I have to do all my firing manually. Anyone found this/sorted it? cheers |

Its a common problem for boats coming of Pearl. The bug has to do with crossing the international date line. Some mods, like Ducimus' start the player past the date line so the problem only shows up when you are returning to base.
The deck gun is also another know problem. I've had it happen to me too. You cannot crew it but you can still use it yourself. |

I've been playing with a front deck gun since I started my 1st campaign. I've not had any trouble with the gun or with the crew screen associated with it.

looks like you have broken your game with mods.
There are many mods that have removed the sonar lines from the map due to more realistic game play. Sideeffect is that the green lines on attack screen are also removed. Your issue with guns is also mod related. You must have installed a mod that puts you before the date when the gun is available. |

Thanks guys for the info. Where do I get this 'ducimus' mod? Does it just start you out in the pacific somewhere after you leave port? If so sounds great as I wont have to twiddle my thumbs whilst I cross several thousand KM of empty pacific every time

i am also missing the trajectory indication line, and torpedo icon. i sailed out of pearl. once i fire, i can only wait to see if it hits...
