Has anyone fixed the Radar bug?

We really hope the devs get it fixed right as it should have been in the first place.

I use the Flavored to Taste Mod and radar works just fine for me now. Plus I added the Smaller Radar targets mod. Works great.

Is there a way to get the radar fix from the FTT mod without installing the entire mod? I'd like this fix, but don't like some of the other things in this mod.
